SMP’s Universal Modular Jack offers a unique locking bezel system that allows for easy port identification and labeling at the work center. This jack and bezel combination create a superior hold on the faceplate or box, making it virtually impossible to accidentally remove the jack. More than the aesthetic appeal and convenience the UMJ jack offers, it is designed to support emerging high performance platforms that exceed category specifications.

SMP’s Xpress Fiber Connectors are pre-polished, field installable connectors that eliminate the need for messy epoxies and expensive tools. Xpress Connectors have a pre-stubbed factory polished ferrule that joins to the fiber using a precise mechanical alignment and a special low loss index matching gel. The Xpress Connectors come with a specially designed clip that holds the clamping devices open for the fiber to be inserted. Once the fiber is inserted, squeeze the clip to release the blades, remove clip and discard.
